Every year, Discover Brightside hosts two transformative events — one in February for Black History Month and one in June for Juneteenth — dedicated to elevating Black voices, celebrating cultural impact, and opening discovery to all.
EmpowerBlack isn’t just for the Black community. It’s for allies, educators, creatives, business owners, and anyone ready to engage in real conversations, support innovation, and discover the brilliance that’s shaping our collective future.
Through video storytelling, live interviews, curated reviews, and networking, EmpowerBlack helps attendees answer the question:

Every February and June, we proudly present the Black Empowerment Series, a two-part event honoring Black History Month and Juneteenth, celebrating Black excellence, innovation, and community leadership.
This year marked our 6th annual gathering — and it was our most powerful one yet.
